Bozeman, Montana, USA, September 21 : It is said that, how to improve quality of life is today’s concern all over the world despite the technological & financial advances. Trying to find answers for the global concerns, today the Indian community in Montana has arranged a lecture of Shri. Saumitra Gokhale. He will talk about the directions one may seek from Hinduism in today’s chaotic world & technological mess.
The people in USA are cordially invited today for a lecture by Shri. Saumitra Gokhale, on 'Where does the Hindu compass point?', which is planned at Montana State University.
The invitation from the organisers reads, “Humanity has made great strides in science and technology in the last century. Wealth generation has been unprecedented in history. Education, health care, and even many comforts in life are available to masses. However, in addition to poverty and hunger, humanity is faced with newer challenges like stress, drug abuse, domestic violence, violent crime, environmental degradation etc. Does Hinduism have any solutions to offer? Where does the ‘Hindu Compass’ point for humanity caught up in the storm of such challenges? The lecture looks at the unique holistic worldview and way of life based on Hindu philosophy and its immense relevance today.”
