NHRC issues notice to MP Govt over reports of death of 166 children due to malnutrition 

National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has taken prompt awareness of media reports that 116 children have died due to malnutrition in the Sheopur district of Madhya Pradesh during the last five months. A notice is being issued to the Chief Secretary, Government of Madhya Pradesh calling for a detailed report in the matter within four weeks. India records over 75% air pollution casualties reveals WHO report

World Health Organization’s new report confirms that India alone accounts for over 75 per cent of the casualties caused by cardiovascular diseases and lung cancer. CBI arrests two accused in journalist 'Umesh Rajput murder case' after 5 years

Two accused persons are arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation, both residents of Village Kansanghi, District Gariyaband, Chhattisgarh in an on-going investigation of a case relating to alleged murder of Umesh Rajput, resident of District Gariyaband. 3 suicide attacks shake Iraq; at least 18 killed, over 49 injured

Three suicide bomb attacks took place in Baghdad, killing at least 18 civilians and injuring 49 others present there. In the first attack a suicide bomber blew himself up in Shia district, eastern Baghdad killing at least 10 civilians and injuring 28 others.
